How this report is made
- It counts Vienna flats with a district, in the month FlatDrop first saw them (Vienna time), at their first asking price. Flatshare rooms and houses are not included.
- Rent means gross rent as stated in the ad. Estimated gross rents and bare net rents are left out. For sale means the purchase price.
- A flat on two portals counts once. Ads that were already online when FlatDrop started collecting are left out of the rent figures; the price cuts count every watched listing that was online in the month.
- A number is shown only when at least 20 listings stand behind it, and always with its sample size n.
- A month is fixed 3 days after it ends; this one on 4 November 2026. After that its figures do not change. Method version 2.
- A comparison with the month before is shown only when both months were covered in full, computed with the same method and delivered by the same portals without longer outages.
- 1,530 listings that FlatDrop found only in a catch-up sweep, not when they went online, are left out.
- Days with new rental listings per portal: derStandard 31, ImmoScout24 31, immowelt 31, WG-Gesucht 31, willhaben 31.
