5 is an ordinary listing; an 8 needs real quality and a fair price.
A furnished shared-flat room of about 30 m² in the 9th district, near Alserstraße, with good access to the University of Vienna, the Medical University, tram and U-Bahn. The gross rent is 700 EUR, about 17 % above the local reference for WG rooms in the district (median 600 EUR).
The fixed term of three months makes this a short sublet. The flatmates are four friends who want a shared everyday life with cooking, coffee and social evenings, rather than a purely practical arrangement.
Suited to students or people who need a room in Vienna for a short period and enjoy a sociable shared flat.
