How fast am I really?
All five portals are checked about every 10 minutes, a little less often at night. Alerts go out as soon as a listing is found and scored. Example: a flat that goes online at 09:02 is usually on your phone before 09:10, long before everyone else scrolls in their lunch break.
Does the bot apply for me?
No. FlatDrop writes a draft; you copy it and send it yourself through the portal. Every message stays yours.
Which languages does it speak?
English, German, Ukrainian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic and Persian. Scores and draft translations arrive in your language.
What happens to my data?
FlatDrop keeps only what your searches need. /deleteme erases everything that belongs to you. Backups are encrypted.
Is FlatDrop part of willhaben & co.?
No. FlatDrop is an independent project by a student at the University of Vienna and only shows publicly available listings. The portals and advertisers are responsible for the listings themselves.

What is FlatDrop?
FlatDrop is a free Telegram bot (@flatdropbot) and the website flatdrop.at for anyone looking for a rental flat or a WG room in Vienna. The bot watches willhaben, ImmoScout24, immowelt, derStandard and WG-Gesucht and messages you when a new listing matches your search: district, budget (gross rent), rooms and size. Each alert shows an AI fit score from 0 to 10 with a short reason, rule-based red flags such as a short fixed term, key money (Ablöse) or a broker's commission and, where there is enough data, a comparison with the district's median price. On request it writes an application draft that you send yourself. The market data on the stats pages is free to reuse (CC BY 4.0).
